Red Admiral

We are used to looking at the top of the wings, but the underside is intriguing as well.

We got up early to do some watering and to tidy up the garden before it got hot.  It's too hot now to do anything but sit in the shade and watch bees and butterflies everywhere.  This one was syphoning up some water that had dribbled out of a plant pot onto the path.
