In today’s episode of the Supreme Court’s slow dismantling of our democracy, SCOTUS takeS up a Republican-led drive, backed by the head of the current regime, to wipe away limits on how much political parties can spend in coordination with candidates for Congress and president.

Not that this hasn’t happened already — famously with Musk offering $100 to voters ahead of last year’s presidential elections. So this, I assume, is just a pro forma way to make it all appear perfectly legal.

Gee… I wonder what the outcome of those deliberations will be. But hey, I’m willing to be surprised :)
