Sunshine makes all the
difference - we may sizzle

I left the house at 6 on my way to Mission Flats. Some people must be getting a long weekend as the roads were rather quiet. School is out for the summer so routines have changed. 

I drove to the end of the road to get my panorama of the river and delta. The river is full and running fast. I found an osprey on the nest that is far beyond my reach inside a fenced property. Thank heavens for my telephoto lens! 

I turned for the bridge, making one last stop to look back at the river. It is a beautiful day and warming up fast. 

I came back across the river to get my groceries so I could be home before 8. I've paid all my property tax and utilities online so that's done for another year.
