The Burrell Collection

Back over to the West Coast again ...

... we hadn't been to visit The Burrell Collection, since its 2016-2022 refurbishment, and today was the day - was actually a 'triple blippers trip' with @lovenature and @annejohn making up the visiting party ;-)

We took a train over to Glasgow, then a local bus out to the venue, which sits within the wider grounds of Pollok Country Park (all South of central Glasgow).

Main snap shows the general entrance area to the museum, with the refurbished building behind; 1st extra is 'Shawmuir Lodge' where we entered Pollok Park; & having visited the museum, we walked across the park, with the 2nd extra showing 'North Lodge' which we passed on exiting. Thereafter a couple of trains back over to the Capital.

The main museum was certainly displaying as eclectic a collection as I remember from over a decade ago; but I would say it's much more thinned-out now, and pretty well presented within its new surroundings.

All made for an enjoyable day.
