Coastal walk

Our last day on Guernsey and despite being kept awake in the night by the foghorn we woke to blue sky and warmth. We decided to get the bus to Torteval on the west corner and walk back along the coast for about 4 miles. It was stunning coastal walking with turquoise sea and a lovely breeze. We passed several WW2 look out towers .
The path was typically coastal with a lot of steps down into rocky coves and up onto the cliff path which was hard work in the heat
After lunch we hopped on a bus back into town and went to the Victorian natural sea pools at La Vallette , a dip in which was just what we needed !
Finished off the day with a drink overlooking the town. Perfect
