Homemade Gazpacho, A&S's garden, Bath

Back at the hospital this morning, along with my friend A, who kindly gave me a lift there. Spent a few more hours with Dad after A left, then she returned, picked me up and we went back to her house in Bath where we had a late lunch with her husband in the garden, including some chilled Gazpacho.

Long chat with the doctor this morning; by Wednesday we might know which way things are going. 30 degrees today, and no air conditioning in the hospital. Back at home it's sweltering upstairs, another tropical sleepless night ahead. Too hot to bother cooking this evening, ice cream for tea!

PS Still 26 degrees in the bedroom at 10pm!!
