Love at the RUH

Muggy start to the day but managed to tick a few jobs off my long list before a family friend very kindly gave me a lift to the hospital in Bath late morning.

Had long conversations with the OT, the Dementia Support Worker, and the Ward Doctor. Everything still up in the air but I made the decision to cancel daycare for the foreseeable future as Dad's recovery is going to take a long time, that way I save having to pay retainer fees.

On leaving the hospital I spotted the local Dial a Ride driver in the car park and she kindly gave me a lift home so no bus journeys today, thank goodness. Back home, a few more chores, still a lot to do before Singapore arrives Thursday. Still no decision made re my trip on Sunday. 26 degrees this afternoon but starting to feel a little fresher, still sweltering upstairs though.
