Rolling Back the Years
Almost twelve of them. I first blipped this Brodiaea californica back in July 2013 in very similar circumstances, the flowers catching the last of the sunlight. Then I reckoned I had sown the seeds around 20 years earlier ... so now it must have passed 30 years. The original seed came from a licensed collector in California where it grows wild. These are second generation plants that I have raised from seed saved in the Norwich garden shortly before I left.
A quiet day, resting a bit after a busy work week. The ankle is a bit better after a day without socks and mostly without shoes. Jamie came over and we had a pancake lunch together and later in the afternoon I popped to pottery where a friend turned up so I stopped to chat and start glazing the latest pieces. I'm away for a few days now so it will be awhile before they're finished.
