Another day, another flight. Our taxi for the airport was early, the driver would be going to church later we were told. So I had enough time to nip outside the airport to get a farewell photo of the sculpture outside. Same routine at security, bags had to be opened and checked, but this time no contraband, all binned yesterday. Flight was on time and we arrived in Bristol on time – what’s this, rain? I was in shorts and tee shirt, hadn’t even taken a waterproof with me the forecast was that confident, must have been the extra day threw it out. Taxi driver was there in ten minutes and we were home in an hour. Next adventure please.
