Air Dancer

We bought the air dancer this year to keep the birds out of the blueberries. We have used bird netting before, and it is a giant pain, so we get a little entertainment out of this. It is semi effective, as the robins are onto it. I know I wrote about robins being a sign from our loved ones passed, but these are a gardener’s pain in the a$$. I see them swoop right in, grab a berry, or a bite of a berry, and skeedaddle. I guess we just share our bounty with the birds.

Hot AF today. 97 degrees.

Update on the squirrel capture: one more caught today, total of four this year.

This cracked me up. Tom suggested that we take them to nearby Baskett Slough Wildlife Refuge to drop them off. You know, so they can be with other wildlife. I smiled and said, “Perfect.” Better than an earful of buckshot. Live, and let live.

One could do worse than being an air dancer.
