Squirrel relocation update: five now. Some might say, why don’t you just shoot them. The first thing is, I don’t shoot things. Period. I have a shotgun that is here for house protection, and we both know how to use it. But I am not using it on squirrels. A squirrel vs. my shotgun has zero chance. None. A relocated squirrel has a chance. I don’t know its odds, and I don’t care. I know its odds are better than a load of buckshot. I don’t like them, but I am not going to kill them. I will keep the live traps in play until I don’t see anymore.

The company who makes the traps is called Havahart, and for one sentient being, we are having a heart.
