Splashes of colour
Saturday
The orange day lilies and the orange/red trumpet vine provided beautiful splashes of colour along the edge of the bike trail, as we cycled north from Mathers Mill this morning. 11 miles was my total, while R did a few more as usual! The river is returning to its more normal levels, and there were two guys preparing to put their kayaks in the river, as we were unloading our bikes. We had been planning to go to the Greek Festival this evening, but there was still the threat of thunder storms, so we decided to stay home, and hopefully go tomorrow.
