Another 5k

After a few weeks of relative inactivity, I managed another 5 km morning run—down to the River Clwyd and back. Although it was overcast, the heat radiating from the tarmac road and the humidity made it a tough one. 

Still, I was pleased with my time: 30 minutes and 56 seconds—a slight improvement on Friday’s effort.

Late afternoon, I watched “Rod the Mod” performing at Glastonbury. I really enjoyed it—plenty of nostalgic tracks from the 1970s. There’s been some unfair criticism in the media, but honestly, he still has real showmanship. For an octogenarian, he was brilliant.
