Chipmunk - y

Love them or hate them? To me they are cute, insatiably curious little creatures that clean up the fallen bird seed and add a certain character to the yard. To my husband they are irritating and freaky little beasts that run under your feet when you are not expecting it and get into places  you don't want them to go. He could cheerfully eliminate them all - although as our neighbour recently found, there is actually a bottomless pit of chipmunks that are available instantly to fill any chipmunk-free void in the space-time continuum..
