Fire and Brimstone

Not 'fire' exactly, though the temperatures remain fiery enough.

It's turning into quite a week of a variety of butterfly visitors. Today's pic shows a Brimstone. Both males and females have distinctive leaf-shaped wings and have a single orange spot on each wing. This one, enjoying my sweet pea flowers, is male; the females are paler.
