Poolside

The Indian restaurant last night was absolutely delicious! And we went and got gelato afterwards too, before returning home and playing a few card games.

This morning we were going to go to the beach, but the UV index was extremely high. It was already 10 by 10am and was set to reach 12 by midday. We did go to the pool though. I stayed on a sun lounger in the shade and read as I didn't want to risk burning, but the others went in the pool. 

We went back to our room at about midday and chilled in the garden, but I ended up falling asleep. I had moved myself one of the sun loungers and I was in the shade fortunately and then Sophia woke me up to say that lunch had been made! Apparently Sadie had come to ask me at one point how many sandwiches I wanted but I was fast asleep! They knew I would want 2 though.

We headed back to the pool at about 4:30 when I took this picture, and I did go swimming this time. It's a salt water pool so it's very easy to float, which is good as I'm not a very good swimmer, though I have improved a lot over the last couple of holidays. We stayed in for about an hour and a half before going back to the sun loungers by the pool and relaxing a bit (it was Sophia's turn to fall asleep this time, but the UV index was low by this point). 

We got back to the room and Riddhi and I cooked everyone pasta which came out really nice! This evening we are going to do a Cryptic Killers! We're doing the hardest one; Murder In Market Hill.
