Amphibian Day

We spent a lot of time in the water today. We went in the pool for a bit in the morning, before relaxing on the sun loungers by the pool. I fell asleep again reading my book, but again, I was shaded by a parasol. 

We headed back to the hotel room for lunch, relaxed a bit, and then headed to the beach (extra here), taking a detour to check the location where we are getting picked up from for an excursion tomorrow. 

Between there and the beach, we walked past this Hard Rock Café around the corner from our hotel, with some very interesting architecture.

The sand on the beach was extremely hot. Sophia and Riddhi sat on their beach towels for a bit whilst me, Sadie and Flora went for a swim. The ocean didn't take long to get to a point where you couldn't touch the bottom anymore, but it stayed quite flat beyond that to the edge of the cove presumably. It was also easy to float and there were next to no waves this afternoon. I still didn't go very far out, but Sadie and Flora went quite far.

After a while, we all headed back to the pool for some more swimming and now we're back home and Sophia and Flora are making fajitas. This evening we will finish the Cryptic Killers we started last night. Part 1 was really easy, but this is supposed to be the hardest one, so part 2 is probably going to get very interesting.
