Chicory (tip)!

Cool enough to resume my pre breakfast walks early this morning. This chicory has thrived by the road on the uncut verge. Ideally we’d like to add some to our garden as it is clearly ‘no maintenance’! Busy morning of Zoom calls and home admin as the temperature rose again. This is the last day of the intense heat … for the time being? ( Showing my age by referencing the 60’s pop group’s hit “Son of the Father”!
