Fairy Foxglove

Colonising the wall of a bridge in Grantown carrying the old Perth to Forres railway line ( victim of Dr Beeching) - the bridge is shown in the extra.The delicate Fairy foxglove,Erinus alpina is no relation to the common foxglove. It is an introduced alpine plant which thrives on the limestone mortar of old buildings such as this bridge.
