I'm more of a by-the-water kind of person than on, or in. But watching this person kite-surf, alone in the afternoon sun, I could see how amazing that must feel. 
After quite a bit of shouting, it looks as though Portugal house-sale hassles may be on the way to resolution. Fingers crossed. 
Roiling hot day, watered both our garden and neighbours' garden extensively. Rain, inevitably, followed.
