More about Swedish ryebread !

Ive already posted on June 23 about my great love of the ryebread here in Sweden, in all its shapes and forms.  I completely adore the stuff !!

In the town of Granna today I watched an artisan baker at work making it. Starting with a huge 'brick' of the dough, he fed it through a roller many many times until it looked like a 10-12 metre long roll of fabric which was then cut, dried and baked.  Pictured here is the dough prior to cutting.

I acknowledge this might be Blip's most 'boring' photo today !!
