Lost and found
Stretch class first thing followed by a dog walk at Newbattle. Tick’s are still rife but they don’t seem to be attaching thankfully and very helpfully walk across Phin’s back so they are easily removed.
Just enough time to get showered and dressed before we headed into town to meet Miss PHL for lunch. We went to a rather tasty Vietnamese style restaurant Pho as they’re dog friendly. Slight issue with my dish (I’d ordered cauliflower rice and it came with normal rice) meant Mr PHL was pretty much finished before my replacement rush arrived. The waiter was very apologetic and removed the service charge and gave us a discount which was a nice bonus.
Miss PHL and I had a look in a new glasses shop as we still use her a present from Christmas as she’s after a new pair of sunglasses and whilst there were some lovely frames, she couldn’t decide. Poor thing has been struggling a bit with nausea which she thinks may be sugar based so is going to make a doctors appointment to get tested.
Home and I tackled the ironing mountain whilst Mr PHL took Phin for his afternoon walk. As I was tidying out the drawer where my tee shirts reside, I found this earring which I thought I’d list a while back. It’s made from Harris tweed and I bought them in Stornoway so I couldn’t replace them. It’s a pretty bad picture but I couldn’t get the focusing right but it’s the best I’ve got! Thanks to JDO for hosting.
First business meeting under our new president where Iain shared our three year plan seemed to go down well and we got through a significant amount of agenda items.
As we hadn’t had dinner before we went out, we had a light supper when we got home.
