Phin headed into daycare quite happily this morning and Mr PHL and I headed off to the big blue and yellow warehouse as we needed a couple of mats and somehow I’ve run out of napkins! We treated ourselves to breakfast which was so filling I didn’t need any lunch.

Picked up the things we needed along with some new serving dishes which are a fairly close match to the Denby place settings I already have. Somehow managed to buy 25 items!

Home to deep clean both en suites and finish off the ironing which took most of the afternoon. An early dinner and off to choir for the last session of this term. It rained solidly for most of the day but had dried up by the time we came out of rehearsal. Blipped the sky just after 9 when I got home.

A quick flurry of messages between Mr PHL, myself and our friends Stuart and Linda as we ruminated over whether or not to head to Thurso at the start of September for Tubes by the Dunes. The final decision was a go and tickets are now booked. Left a message with the kennels we used last year to see if they have space for Phin. If they don’t we’ll leave him at home in his normal day care.
