Stash

Good new for today is Mr C is having his colonoscopy and endoscopy on 14 July, so that’s not long to wait. Depending on the results, if necessary, scans should follow within a further 2 weeks.

I had dentist for a root extraction from the top back and it was done quickly though he warned me he could see the adjoining tooth might not last long. Half an hour later in the hairdresser I found my mouth full of fillings and tooth. It felt like the 2 remaining back teeth had disintegrated. So I went straight back to the dentist who fitted me in and tried to patch them up. He hopes it’ll last 3 months as he can’t do anything till then because of the extraction.

Now Mr C has taken the van to get the aircon topped up. I wonder if we’ll need it as I’m wearing 4 layers and the rain is chucking it down. It’s not nearly so noisy on the conservatory roof as it was with the plastic one.

I’m going to look for a book to read. One left on the pile has been there for ages. “Butter” by Asako Yuzuki - it’s had mixed reviews from the people I know who have read it. This blip is what remains of the current stash. I was amused to see the tiny sticker on the top one announcing it “includes Gateshead”!
