The Colour of Magic...

After coating another hall door (two down eleven to go...) we drove down to Weston Super Mare to see the Paul Kidby exhibition of Discworld Illustrations at the museum. I've been waiting for an opportunity to get down to this - well, one needs a reason to go to Weston - and today was it.

I took a few pictures of the pictures, but somehow it doesn't feel right to blip someone else's image. Someone else's bronze of P'Terry* feels fine though. In fairness, I've also played with that and overlaid Sir Terry with a technicolour burst. Some of you might be able to see the Octarine tints...

If you're in range of Weston Super Mud I thoroughly recommend you visit the exhibition, which runs until the end of August. Mr Kidby might even be there - he was today! If you don't know who STP is, or Discworld, well there is help available for you at almost any library or bookshop in the cosmos.

*if "P'Terry" doesn't mean anything to you and you do know about Discworld, you weren't perhaps around in the years before the Internet, when the Compulink Information Exchange, or CIX, was where all the cool kids hung out before USENET led us all astray. GNU Terry Pratchett.
