Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

The invalid has a visitor!

So, the invalid is still limping. He's been out a few times for the necessary toileting, and when we were out in the rain, he fair rushed back home!

His Wednesday friend John was passing, and called in to check on him. How sweet! They changed their walkies day to Thursday this week, and are very disappointed they won't see him tomorrow for their long walk. Could they do a shorter stroll, perhaps involving a local cafe?? Yes, that's a good idea!

JR has been her usual busy busy self, two gym sessions, popping in to town for something, going to the supermarket for something else, taking Archie out between showers...

I've watched tennis. Cameron Norrie had a tough game, but he got through. Actually, I also did half an hour on the bike, while watching tennis. I may make this part of my regular routine. I'm also drinking a litre of water a day. Not sure what that does, except involve more frequent visits to the toilet, but I know it's good for me. It has rained on and off all day, but I was able to take Archie out for a stroll. I left my stick at home - I'm OK when not walking too far, or too fast - so the pair of us limped along in the evening sunshine.

Here's Archie with his pal John!
