A Special Pop Of Colour

Wonderful to walk outside early this morning into beautiful cooling rain and to see a pop of colour! MrQ's poppy had come into bloom overnight, only a few hours late for our 55th wedding anniversary. :)

I photographed it this morning, droplet covered, under grey skies. (Extras) This afternoon the sun and the marmalade hoverflies came out.
