Thank you Sweden

I've been in Sweden since June 15 and today's my last full day here on this holiday.  It's been a blast.  I've reconnected with all the Swedes I've come to know over the last 15 years, and now spent wonderful time in their homes, and met their parents and sisters and brothers and cousins and kids, and even neighbours.  I'm so grateful I could do this. 

It's the times with all the people I shall remember fondly but also the environment and landscape.  The lakes with forest to their edge, the dappled light along the walking tracks, the extraordinary bird life, the long long days and the beautiful late sunsets.  All these images and experiences will remain with me for a very long time.
