Mountain marathon ...

... yes, we've literally walked/cycled 26-miles in the Cairngorms today - a complete epic of an expedition; and with mild sunshine & no wind to speak of (all day long), the conditions just could not have been better :-)

8-mile cycle into the mountains; the 1st extra shows our bikes, as we crossed the River Dee, near the start of our trip; followed by 10-miles of walking, with 2-munros summited - An Sgarsoch and Càrn an Fhidhleir; main snap shows 'M' approaching the first summit, Càrn an Fhidhleir; then an 8-mile cycle back; with the 2nd extra showing what is probably the most remote 'bike shed' in the whole of Scotland - sitting beside the ruins of Geldie Lodge!

One of those absolute 'heaven-on-earth' days, that will live in the memory for a very, very long time :-))
