Red roses

A red climbing rose, it has been there for at least 15 years. It struggled for a few years but now it is healthy and it is covered in blooms right now.

I need to get my rain gauge setup again. When I got up this morning, the forecast called for less than 1 mm of rain between 8 and 9 am. So I never bothered to change our start time. When I left at 8:15 it had just started to rain. Five minutes later it was dark and the rain was pouring down. One of my workers called me, I told him we would start a half hour later. He was already at the job site. We waited in the cars till just after 9 when the rain stopped. The skies cleared and by noon time it was humid. The air temperature was 28 C.

A beautiful sunset tonight. I took a few photos, and need to go back outside for a few more.
