St Palais

Meanwhile, I have left the family to it and scarpered to the coast for a few days to see old friends. Staying in St. Palais I went to a fascinating photo show of pictures and the life of Vivian Maier. She was the New York nanny who took a camera everywhere and amassed a huge collection which wasn't discovered until after her death.

The exhibition is in an old customs house building that is perched on the cliff over the bay. Passers by all like to stop and take in the view.

I needed a fix of seafood so had moules frites for lunch when I arrived.
