Right Behind

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

Kitty Cat and I drove up to Kingussie today to go to the Broonie’s stepdad’s funeral.

It was a really slow drive in the way up and we were worried we wouldn’t make it but thankfully we had 40 mins contingency as we arrived at the church with 8 mins to spare.

We didn’t however quite make to the internment after the church service. The cemetery was about a mile out of town but due to a bit of satnav confusion/us being fannies, people were starting to leave by the time we made it there. We ran back to the car and headed straight to the hotel where we bravely hid in the bar until everyone arrived. Thought it would be a bit rude to get first dibs on the sandwiches!

It’s a bit of a variation in a theme for Kitty Cat and me. When we went to Broonie’s dad’s funeral, we went to the wrong church and only just made it in the nick of time!

Despite the circumstances, it was good to see Broonie who was blissfully unaware of how useless his friends had been!
