Levens Hall

Now A has a bus back to Sedbergh at 4, we can venture a bit further than Kendal for lunch. We haven't met up for ages so treated ourselves to a wander round Levens Hall gardens and lunch in the cafe. Their  veg gardens are amazing . I was so impressed , admiring the courgettes, fennel, parsley, beet , asparagus .........artistically growing in flower beds that I forgot to take photos. You get the well photo'd topiary instead,  with A for interest. I have with and without A and decided she improved the photo .
