Beat the Hundred

I’ve been playing golf for more years than I care to remember and I have resigned myself to the fact that Tiger and Rory have no worries about competition from me. I play “unpredictable golf”.
On a good day I go round in 104 -115, but I have never scored under 100 for 18 holes. I went round in 93 a couple of years ago, but we played the front nine twice, so doesn’t really count. Today was a major achievement for me. 7 pars and a score of 98! We are playing again on Monday and it’s going to be a difficult score to beat. Bob congratulated me, but through gritted teeth. He is the most competitive person in the world. This was a tough day for him.
I print my own score cards to make it easier for Bob to add up while we go along. We also have our own names for the 18 holes.
