Poppy

A bit cold and cloudy today. The only bit of brightness is when I got up. The cloud and wind move in off the North Sea. We miss the light rain. Partner is out with a friend for an exhibition, so I am on my own on the morning walk. I come across a curious pigeon in White Lady Wood, but I think the photo of a poppy against a new wooden gate is nice and simple. So the pigeon is an Extra.

After work, a walk through the woods. Cloud means it is rather dark in the woods. No sunshine means no butterflies or birds. There is an occasional squirrel, but with the lack of light, it is difficult to get a sharp photo.
