Pentland Hills Vista

Cloudy start to the day, and the rain started at 8:30. Not had a day like this for months. Not going to complain as water levels are low. Still raining later on, so no pre lunch walk. I do stretch my legs walking around the house.

After lunch, there are some pulses of really heavy rain. It stops around 4pm, so partner and I can go for an afternoon walk. We take jackets as part of the walk goes through wooded areas. It is hoods up as quite a bit of water drips off leaves. As we walk, it does get warmer. By the time we reach Braidburn Valley Park, the sun has come out. View of the Pentlands shows we have a watery blue sky and sunshine. Walking home, the sun has done its job, and puddles we had to walk around, have gone. No sitting in the park. it is Wine Wednesday, and we need wine.
