Today's the day ................... for an Award Ceremony

I was privileged today to attend the Moniaive Primary School  End of Year Award Ceremony - the school of granddaughters, Tessa and Josie.  It is a small country school with around forty or so pupils and it was very soon evident that it is a caring and supportive place for all its pupils to learn and thrive - and be confident in their own abilities, whatever form they may take.  

On the right is the cup that Josie was presented with, as the Primary 1-3 pupil who had made the 'most progress in Mental Maths'.  In the middle is Tessa's 'James Paterson Award for Painting' - with one of her paintings in as an extra.  And then she also was given the 'Moniaive Primary School Creative Artist Award' , which is the rather innovative trophy on the left.

So proud of them both - and all the hard work they have done to achieve these awards ........................
