Half hour on the bike ✔️
Litre of water drunk✔️
Today Archie's friends came to collect him, but just for a leisurely stroll. His limp is sometimes very pronounced, and at other times, you'd hardly notice it.he can jump up on to the sofa, but I lift him down. He wanted to pose with Amanda today, to be fair.
Once they'd gone, I hobbled along to the Red Box (now Cuthbert's) without my stick, as I managed quite well yesterday, I was keen to try again on a short, slow walk. I met up with JR and C and had a coffee. They'd been there for a good half hour before me, and JR was raving about the egg roll she'd had for breakfast With TWO eggs! And actually, I was very impressed with their new breakfast menu...
I came home to watch tennis, on my bike. Pedalling, no stopping - not just sitting on it!!
Archie and his pals walked slowly across the Links and hung out in their sunny back garden, having a picnic, so that was a nice, easy, fun day for The Invalid.
Later I took Archie out for a stroll again, round the graveyard, to cheer him up. We met Hamish (Archie's big hero) who has quite bad arthritis. And so three of us limped along together with Hamish's dad.
Just home in time to watch the Draper/Cilic match, which was epic, and has just finished.
