Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

I had a morning appointment with my physiotherapist and my friend and her wife picked me up afterwards. They wanted to go and see an old grave field, so we did. A beautiful place, filled with wild flowers and hills.
After that we stopped on the way back to take photos of ponies and corn flowers. Then onwards to Old Uppsala, another place with grave mounds and history. We had such at the restaurant and to my delight I could eat the food without my stomach protesting. Apparently they made their food with milk products not containing lactose. :)
We couldn't go inside the old church, because there were a funeral, so we went around it, and also found the old rune stone placed in the church wall in 1856. The remaning text says: ...Sigvid Englandsfararen (England traveler) rose this stone after his father Vidjärv... It's from the 900th century.
Then we took a walk around the burial mounds and they drove me home, because I was so tired, and also had to pack for the trip the next day.
