Greater Butterfly Orchid

Spotted on an early morning walk, trying to beat the rain. We have a yellow weather warning for the next couple of days. Now I've had my walk it's a day for the house I think. 
 
I put yesterday's self heal into the wildflower challenge but you can never have too many wildflowers so here's another. 


What a pleasant evening I had yesterday. I'd not seen J for at least a couple of years but now that she's moved into town, and so close, I expect to see a lot more of her.  There was non stop chat for 4 hours. We even bumped into the team manager from the days when we worked together. 


Today will be a quieter one. I have a trial run of a cake to bake and some admin to attend to. I don't think I'll be in the garden though.
