The Twelfth Again!

I was out early this morning before the rain came in, so this was my only photograph, and yes it's that time of the year again.

Some bonfires in the province are built to staggering heights reaching into the sky and consisting of thousands of wooden pallets.  It strikes me that a network of lighted beacons would be preferable and at least they would have historical precedence.
