Cosmos

Flower Friday and the pot of white cosmos has certainly grown while we have been away.
Back home now after a few very enjoyable days on the East Coast.

First job for me was watering the garden, while MrC unloaded the car.
The only things which have suffered while we have been away are the bags of potatoes and the raised bed of vegetables. Mainly the runner beans which weren’t doing well before we went but also the broad beans. They were covered in flowers but unfortunately they don’t seem to have formed many beans.
However the lettuces are doing well. 
Will be pulling up the first bag of potatoes tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

It’s warm and muggy here at the moment but once again blowing a gale, and believe it or not just as I finished watering we had a shower.
Will start on the dead heading tomorrow.
