Pen-y-ghent

We left warm, sunny Leeds on the train to Carlisle and it was a journey through beautiful countryside including crossing the Ribblehead viaduct. What a treat!

As forecast Carlisle is in a different weather zone and many of the locals are wearing top of the range branded rainwear.

We wont be wearing summer frocks or straw hats to the races tomorrow.
