Carlisle races

Ok It has n’t been wall-to-wall rain here in Carlisle but heavy showers did spoil the party atmosphere at the races this evening.

It was very much a big night out for the locals,
The lads were suited and booted, I have never seen so many pairs of brown shoes in one place. The ladies outfits were lovely but not suitable for a cool, rainy evening. We left after the 5th race so I don’t know how many stayed after racing for the Abba tribute band.

The race card was lady jockeys only. And no I didn’t have a winner.
