Ocean of calm no7...

Crazy busy morning of patient related phone calls and visit from engineer re phoneline (still not fully sorted). Lunchtime headed to the hospital with my brother, difficult visit. Dad quite unwell, not himself at all, slept most of the four hours we were there, doctor thinks there may be an infection, starting on antibiotics, review Monday. Am in total quandary, have pushed decision re Germany forward to tomorrow, hoping he will have picked up a little. Decided we'd have takeaway for tea but shop wasn't open for half hour so a quick drink by the river in Bath to try and unwind and calm down. Got to fish and chip shop only to discover it was closed for one week, this week! So D ordered online from a different shop for home delivery, but when it arrived discovered he'd forgotten to order half my meal! This evening there's been no rest, three loads of laundry to deal with, the garden to water, the computer giving me grief etc, etc (all dealt with by me alone of course, as were morning chores). It's really been one of those days...
