On top of the world...

...or at least on top of the cliff near the Pilot's Cabin, Lotstugan.
As you can see the weather has improved from yesterday's rain and when the sun was out it was pleasantly warm.  This is one of our favourite walking areas. You have to keep your wits about you as you walk along the shore on these rocks but at the same time you are free to choose where to walk, rather than just following a path.
The rock is so clean because the biggest storm waves reach all the way up here, maybe 20 meters above the sea.  The pool of water in the foreground is mainly rain water. If Jan and Rose look directly out to sea, eastwards, they are looking towards Finland, 150 kms away.
Earlier in the day I'd labelled the barley wine I bottled yesterday, as you can see in the extra photo.
Th barley wine is made from a Brewferm beer kit. I think the strength will be closer to 6% than 12%, judging by how much sugar I used.
Jan made the labels. The bottles are collected from flea markets, or saved after I've bought specialist beers. My other source is French lemonade sold at Lidl. The lemonade, in the clip down bottle, costs the same as just buying the bottle at a well-known Swedish flatpack furniture store!
I rather liked the various self-portraits reflected in the bottles!
Looks like tomorrow will be sunny too, though Sunday we are back to chilly rain all day. Wow - two sunny days in a row, maybe this is summer!
