English Rose

Had a lovely relaxing day with two walks into Darlington center. It is a very friendly place and has charming little shops including an excellent coffee house. We bought some fresh locally grown vegetables and some delicious locally made cheeses from the indoor market.

David got called away to help Kevin, my brother with setting up a stall for a show for his job - a wine business. Kevin’s two colleagues both had car issues and couldn’t get there to help. As it turned out, it was too windy for them to set up either! So they are getting up early to try again in the morning. Fortunately it’s not too far away, so they will be coming home in the evening.
I bought some garden tools so I can do a bit of work in the beautiful garden here in my brother’s rental home. This rose was just one of the many flowers in the garden. I love the color- a perfect orangey red color!
