Day 4
Changeable weather. In the Shipping Forecast there are 31 named sea areas, N. and S.Utsira, Dogger, German Bight, being a few favourites of mine and most important to us at the moment is the Irish Sea and as forecast the nasty little weather front deposited itself on us in the early afternoon.
As we anticipated this we decided to make an early start and had an interesting morning in the Holyhead Maritime Museum. We picnicked on the sea wall in the lea of a cliff and just finished as a few large drops of rain started. We made it back to the car before the heavens opened and the wind nearly took us off our feet.
Back to the campsite where we battened down the hatches as the storm raged and 'Matilda' had a good pounding. Mr HB returned to his exciting book and I watched some of the tennis. A good match between our last remaining British man, Cameron Norrie v Italian, Mattia Bellucci. Cameron won in 3 straight sets. There was some very good tennis by both of them, but I couldn't hear the commentary very well against the racquet/racket outside!
No chance of eating outside tonight!
