Self Portrait

As is my custom whenever I get new glasses, I've decided to share a self portrait with my new glasses on. I've taken a small step away from my habit of getting completely round glasses. These ones are slightly different (you can see this in more detail in the extra photo).

Today we've stayed home and relaxed. Little Man's Nannie called this morning and we had a lovely chat with her about life and our time seeing her. We'll be having dinner with her on Monday before we head back to our hotel at the airport. We'll also be spending time with her and her husband for just over a week after the conference on the Isle of Man. I'm looking forwards to seeing them.

I've decided to take some my things out of the suitcase as I'm not sure I'll use them. The suitcase is still open but almost ready to be closed. The normal level of nerves I have in the days running up to a journey is there. I've always had a case of the nerves whenever I travel. Its often a mix of excitement at the prospect of traveling and a slight case of anxiety that something might go wrong.
