Can I Come Out Now? ....

... asked the zebra.
Yes I think so replied the giraffe, it's gone one o'clock now so the lemurs should have been fed.

So, we have been to the Bristol Zoo Project today, another Boundless adventure. Quite a strange place. Very much a work in progress and, by the look of it, short of the readies at the moment.

After the first half hour all we had seen was the ostrich and we were wondering what we had let ourselves in for. But then it seemed to wake up. At one o'clock one of the keepers waved a carrot and suddenly there were lemurs leaping everywhere. Then we saw the giraffes, and the zebras emerged too. Finally the red panda entertained us. We didn't see the cheetahs though. A volunteer saw us looking and said you won't see 'my boys' today, they are very elusive.

We did bump into the less elusive blipper Incredibish though, and Janet, which was nice. It was also nice that it didn't rain despite a fairly dismal forecast.

Afterwards we popped over to Cribbs for a lunch in Frankie & Benny's. We used the Boundless Tastecard 2for1 offer there and saved another £17. Thanks bish for telling us about Boundless.

We popped into Tesco on the way home to pick up some sandwiches for the evening. The guy on the till asked if I'd had a good day so far. Yes I said, I have :-)
